You are so not alone. I understand exactly what you are going through.
Certain things and places for me too, have been infected years later.
Do you have kleen green? If not please get ASAP and spray, spray,spray. It will really help.
Yes, I know re the hand washing, I find anti bacterial soap helps, spray yourself with kleen green too. Or a spray solution of wps and water helps. I think it's 8 activated drops in a 8oz spray bottle filled with water.
(double check on the website).
Wash everything in that room that you can.
I add bicarbonate of soda to the wash. It is cheap and helps.
I'm not sure re paper stuff, I had to throw a lot out, but others have managed to save it.
