I have enjoyed reading your journey. I totally understand your feelings of fear - that is my biggest hurdle. In this aspect, I am my own worst enemy.
It's hard to overcome since I have been a "worrier" all my life. When I look at all the time I wasted worrying in my life, it makes me sad. The worry never changed anything because it was never in my control. So I have tried to implement a new strategy - when I find myself worrying, I pray and trust in God's will, love and mercy.
That's not to say that I don't follow the protocol or do everything humanly possible to eradicate this disease. I was always taught that God helps those who help themselves and others. By using all the tools that God has given me and helping others battling this disease (even if its only an understanding ear), I am getting closer to complete healing.
Cleaning my environment seems or should I say "seemed" frustrating and never ending. But I've learned - Mel is absolutely right - it gets better as you get better. M doesn't want to remain in the environment if the human host is no longer palatable - lol!
You have won this battle before and I know that you will again. We are all here for each other. I think the key is that once M is gone, we need to continue to make our bodies uninhabitable to it. After I am 100%, I plan on taking, at the bare minimum, the basic protocol. It's a small price to pay to insure my health for the rest of my life.
God Bless,
