Thanks for reminding us about the raw garlic. I shall take a clove or two chopped up in my salad. I have also been chewing little bits of ginger all week. I did it intuitively , made ginger drinks. Then afterwards I read that ginger contains gingerol which is a powerful anti inflammatory and antioxidant. It is good for our immunity, digestion and is a potent anti viral. The body knows what's good for it, we just have to listen. I understand the distress re you being infected more than once. I have been infected fully three times (although my symptoms never went away and yours did ). Of course we both did not have the protocol then. Thank the Lord and Mel and John that we have it now :-). Another thing that we both had when we got infected again , was a severely weakened and sick immune system. I know that you felt you were completely well when you got infected the second time. However, healthy people do not get Morgellons. I think you still had the pathogens in a dormant state, that got reactivated as your immunity was low. If someone's immune system is robust they do not get infected. There is a connection between chronic illness and stealth microbes. It is not so much the microbes causing problems. The problem is the disruption of your immune function allowing the microbes to flourish. You have heard of that expression, 'you give them an inch and they take a mile.' It usually describes a person taking advantage , well in this case its toxic disease. I have been doing well with the protocol but recently I had an operation which weakened my immune system. Therefore, I have had some symptoms return that I did not expect. This can be scary, but when I got past the fear I realised it's completely to do with my immune system being weaker after the operation. Therefore it's up to me to build it up. Be gentle on myself and continue working towards my goal of health. I have another operation, a major one, coming up fairly soon. I know in advance that my immune system will be fragile afterwards so I am prepared this time. I know what to expect and will listen carefully to what my body needs. This experience taught me first hand that the pathogens take full advantage of us if there is a chink in our armour in any way. Stress is as bad as sugar so we must limit stress, fear and worry as much as possible, all of us. The diet has to be low carb and healthy. The protocol has to be adhered to. We need lots of water, lots of rest and sleep and it helps to be connected to others in our community. A little exercise and fresh air is helpful too. Being static is not good for our immune function either. We have to be in an environment that is not polluted, moldy or toxic in any way. If it is, it needs to be addressed. Obviously the stress of certain things cannot be avoided. Like, for me, a much needed operation. During such times, it's important for us all to take extra care of our mind body and spirit. Yes this disease can be in the air, the water, the environment. However, as long as our immune function is strong, it will not be able to invade. Think of the rotting log in the forest, it attracts all sorts of pathogens and parasites. The strong tree however, attracts very little. I agree it can be like a weird Sci fi movie sometimes this disease. But our focus has to be on immunity. That's it... Our immunity. It's not an easy journey I know Julia. But hang in there, Love Chrissie. | ||||||
