The call with John B. was great. He is always able to answer our questions and provides a wealth of knowledge. I was able to learn that the Essential Flora does contain spore based probiotics. The Logos Nutritional products are wonderful.
I think Paul and Diane had said they had a persistent runny nose. I too, had been experiencing the same thing for a couple of months. I agree with John that this is one way that the body detoxes. But if we are experiencing a histamine response that won't stop it could be inflammation. I personally used Stinging Nettle to help with this. I'm not sure if any of Logos products contain Stinging Nettle, but I'm sure the NFlaStat as Mel and John recommended would be great too. I will have to try that myself the next time I'm dealing with the persistent runny nose.
Also, someone had commented about having to go into the hospital due to diarrhea. I know that the WPS has caused me to have that problem and it is another way of the body detoxing and cleaning out. If it happens too much though it can be a problem losing too many fluids and electrolytes. I have found a natural remedy to help with diarrhea if you don't want to use anti diarrheal pills or Pepto Bismol. Try boiling Pearl Barley with plenty of water and then simmering it for a while in a saucepan on the stovetop. After 20 minutes use a colander over a heat resistant bowl to drain the liquid from the Pearl Barley. Then either dispose of the Pearl Barley, use it in a compost or whatever you like (this has too many carbs for us). Place the reserved liquid in a smoothie bottle and cool. Once cooled, drink and this will help naturally ease your diarrhea. The Magnifical from Logos will help replenish your electrolytes with the Magnesium and Zinc it contains.
