Our most excellent guest speaker on this week's Saturday Conference call (16th September) was the one and only John B from Logos Nutritionals!! John B very kindly came on to discuss that his new book, 'Nurturing Your Bio Terrain, A Gateway to Optimal Health,' will be out very soon in Paperback on Amazon.com. The price will be 12.99 (dollars). But if you give John a review on Amazon he will refund the book price to you!!! How excellent Is that :-). The book will also be available on download soon, through John's, 'restore your bio terrain. Com,' website. However, John wants to encourage people to purchase it off Amazon and give a review in order to reach more people. Through Amazon, more people will see the reviews and it will get the credibility that it absolutely deserves! John said, "It has been quite an adventure writing the book. It is for the common (lay) person, so that they realise the choices they make daily impact their quality of life. I hope it will be a valuable tool. The human bio terrain is a very complex system, with many systems working together in harmony. The human body is very resilient, but in other ways it can be fragile if the system is compromised. There is homeostasis(balance) in all its systems. The book talks about bringing the body back to balance with diet, lifestyle choices and targeted supplementation. With this balance our immunity can do its job to keep pathogens and illness at bay." We in this community have had the good fortune to have John B as a regular Guest for many years now. His knowledge is extensive and we have already learned a great deal from him. However, it will still be wonderful to have all that knowledge and expertise in one book:-). It is also great that, through this book, this knowledge will also reach the general public. Many of whom don't have this, much needed, awareness and education regards their health! John talked about the idea of the body having a bio terrain, going back over a hundred years to the time of Louis Pasteur, who invented Penicillin. Pasteur advocated Germ Theory, which involves destroying the pathogen. This theory is the basis of Modern Western Medicine. We get sick and the conventional doctors give us a drug to mask symptoms. But this drug often causes other symptoms in the body! In contrast the term, 'Homeostasis,' originated from Claude Bernard who said, "it's not the pathogen that's the problem but the terrain when it gets compromised." John said that the general idea of his book is to, "help people get their immunity back, and avoid the continual degradation of the body, using drugs that only mask the symptoms." John said it doesn't matter what chronic illness you have, restoration follows the same pattern. Healing can only be done, "through proper maintenance of the bio terrain. It is our only hope to survive and thrive." People in our community had multiple compromises in their body which allowed them to get sick with Morgellons in the first place. Through the, 'Sum of the Parts,' and the Protocol we in time do restore the bio terrain back to health. First of all we open up detox pathways, then we introduce offense products to work on infections in the body. John talked about half of our Protocol being aimed at healing the Gut. We have products such as the Essential Flora( probiotic), Essential Digestion and the Omega's which nourish and feed the lining of the Gut. Our Protocol restores cellular energy potential. Therefore, our cells become revitalised and our organs and whole body can then become well again!! So you can see how important the knowledge and practice of Homeostasis is for our health, well being, quality of life and even longevity of life! This call was most excellent, listen to it when you can !! John talked about his product Colostrum being mixed with coconut oil and added to Open sores or Lesions and it is really helpful. Wow, I know many many community members who will be trying that out asap! John talked about mold mycotoxins affecting immunity, about keeping a balanced diet free from GMO technology. He talked about the role of fibre in our lives and adding it gradually as you age. He gave many examples of other products Logos sell that are beneficial to Community Members in their healing journey. And in general he was a font of knowledge answering every question with absolute ease!!
