Dear Tea,

Aw!!! I'm glad it brought warm fuzzies to you seeing and hearing about my dear seal friend Ossian. It was amazing to see the pictures of her and know that she is well and happy and cared for. I hope that there are some lovely animals or countryside beside you that warms your heart, especially during these cold winter days!!! :-). I know it is VERY cold where you are.

Yes, I am waiting for some binoculars to be delivered. They keep being delayed as we are seriously snowed in here!!! Haven't seen snow like this for 10 years. Wee Holly's feet go into spasms it's so cold and she refuses to wear booties, the little monkey!!!

But... When the binoculars eventually come I will be able to see a community of deer up close, which will be lovely.

And the binoculars will maybe come in handy for the night stars, or the aurora borealis at rare times lifting up the sky in light purple and dusky green.

And recently dolphins have been known to be visiting here also, so maybe one day I will get to see them also.

I remember a lovely story you told me regards you coming across a young, beautiful deer one day. I think you were even able to pet her weren't you? Sooo lovely!!! :-).

Karen,

Thanks for asking re Ossian. Sadly I won't see her or her partner again, in the flesh so to speak, as I moved 160 miles away. However, my friend emailed the pictures of her to me. So I am hopeful to see other pictures and reports re her. Especially as she is heavily pregnant. It would be AMAZING to see pictures of her baby or babies!!! I'd be over the moon!! :-).

Have you seen anything in the natural world recently that made you very happy to see?

Love
Chrissie and Holly (woof).
Ps.. Holly says she's been enjoying watching a little Robin Red Breast Bird, who comes and sits on our fence. She's very pretty, chirpy and cute :-).
