Dear Tea,

So lovely that you rescued that baby deer from the road :-). It is amazing to see them up close.

Two days ago I looked out and saw the boy deer was behind my fence munching away on some gorse bush yellow flowers. I'm fascinated by his velvety antlers they are so furry and gorgeous looking!!! And his beautiful brown eyes and gentle demeanor are very captivating.

I was watching him through slats in my fence, his little mouth munching away!!!! Oh boy, he loves the taste of those yellow flowers!!! He was there over an hour and a half gently moving from bush to bush, not leaving one flower un-munched :-).

A few days before I saw four female deer run down the hill and then the boy follow them, then they ran into the distance. Its kind of amazing to watch that from my bedroom window.

Though my heart still lies with the creatures that live under the ocean. I'm fascinated by their lives in that watery universe!!!! And I still miss Ossian the seal every day and will always love her. I got sent three recent pictures of Ossian and her mate this week, so she's doing well. I was very happy to see them. Her baby hasn't arrived yet. How I wish I could have brought them with me here :-). But she's well cared for where I used to live. The fisherman gives her tasty fish to supplement what she finds herself. So her baby should be robust and healthy when he/she is born.

I hope you are taking extra care of yourself Tea, as I know you have had a hard time health wise recently. I hope things are getting better for you and that life is treating you more gently.

Love Chrissie.
