I hear your heart cry out for help - you want to be healed and have hope for, and WANT to live your life, otherwise I don't believe you would have reached out. My wife has been dealing with this toxic disease for longer than we'll ever know. I've heard her cries and struggles in your words - feelings of not being okay, hopeless, not understanding why God allows this to happen... Kari spoke those words numerous times before we found Mel and this community and during the early going on the protocol. Although we are only ~ 3 months into the protocol and the symptoms/herx-ing is still very much alive and real, she is getting better each day and has more hope than ever, that she will get well. Not having the disease myself I will never fully and truly understand or feel what my wife or anyone here is going through, even though I'm 100% supportive and have gone 'all in' with her. But here's what I do know... God did not put you in this sea of disease to leave you out to drown. He IS walking with you and carrying you during your most challenging moments and times of struggle. My favorite Christian poem you may have heard of, which I re-posed last week, is called Footprints in the Sand - I HIGHLY recommend reading it over and over. I keep it on my nightstand and it has made a huge difference. God works His healing and blessings through people He trusts. He trusts Mel in guiding us through this disease. If you haven't already, I encourage you to read Mel's story ('My Story') and you will discover he has devoted the rest of his life to helping us get well. Know that this IS God's way of sending healing to you. Mel's guidance, coaching and devotion to keeping us all together is how you will get better. There is power in prayer. As we write this, we are on the Sunday morning prayer and fellowship call and we have been intensely praying for you. Everyone here knows what you're going through and they hurt for you. .Please please join in on a Saturday conference call to learn life-saving information and use it as a forum to bring you own questions (BYOQ). Also join in on Sunday prayer and fellowship - this call takes a step back from the disease and information 'overload' and focuses on praying and supporting each other. Remember, you are special, you have purpose and you are meant to live your best life. Come to this community, join the calls, reach out reach out reach out... you will gain hope and love for life again - you WILL get well. Praying for you and looking forward to hearing your voice on the next conference call and prayer and fellowship. God Bless this child of His - Lilly Love, Karianne and Joe | |||
