Here is my entry for the instructional category of the contest. This would be listed under the Great 8 blue box principals. 1. Do no harm means do not do anything that would harm your body or hinder your healing for full health recovery. That would include the diet which is one of the easiest ways to sabotage healing. Absolutely no sugar or high carbs (which turn to sugar) because they feed this disease! Also, avoid fatty meats. This disease puts us at a higher risk for heart disease. Do no harm can mean creams or products that may cause skin break outs or make your symptoms worse. No harm can mean living in an environment with mold or mildew that will definitely hinder your healing. Do no harm just means to avoid anything that will slow or hinder your body's healing process. Our bodies know how to heal themselves and while there are things we can do to help the body heal, we certainly don't want to compromise the healing in itself. 2. Everybody's body is different. We are all at different stages in this disease and some people are more sensitive than others to the treatments. First, for those that have had this disease for many years and it has grown in progression, it will probably take longer for healing than those people who have had the disease for a shorter time. Also, because of individual body makeup and the depth of sensitivity, some sufferers may have to take the treatments at a slower and more steady rate than others. 3. It's the SUM of the parts, not Some of the parts. It is so important to follow the Guiding Principles, the Protocol, and all the advice from Mel, John, and Peter to achieve total healing. It is literally the SUM total of everything you learn and apply from this website that leads you to full body restoration. Doing only SOME of them will only delay or hinder your wellness. Mel knows by his own experience and hundreds of other's experiences down this path what it takes to beat this disease! He advocates and stresses it is the SUM OF THE PARTS!! The total package!! 4. SLOW and STEADY. This disease takes time to heal. There is no quick fix. Be patient with yourself! Mel often says, "You did not get sick in a day, you will not get well in a day!" Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time. Each day will bring you one day closer to complete healing. You must be strong and steady. This disease will take you on many ups and downs, but you must hold fast. Be a rock! Be a warrior! SLOW and STEADY wins the race!! 5. Better out than in. As you go through this healing process of being on the protocol, practicing the guiding principles and treatments for your symptoms, your body will start to expel bit by bits remnants of this disease. This can be alarming and somewhat scary because it is something you have never experienced before. Let me assure you that this is a good sign! It means your body is becoming inhospitable to this disease. The more your body expels, the less that is in your body! No matter how alarming or discomforting, BETTER OUT THAN IN! 6. Mixing protocols can hinder health restoration. Just like mixing medicines that are not approved by a doctor can be unwise, so can mixing protocols. The protocol is designed to give your body everything it needs to rebuild your immune system. Taking something else could affect the healing process and hinder body restoration, plus could be dangerous. You do not need but one health plan to effectively battle this disease! 7. It's true: Those who do not give up HOPE get well! You have to be courageous in fighting this disease. It takes time and is often uncomfortable. However, you must never give up, you must always have hope and believe you will get well. Those who have HOPE and endure DO GET WELL! 8. Have FAITH and PERSEVERANCE, TRUST the LORD! In Hebrew 11:1 it says: Now FAITH is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen. Have Faith and Hope and believe you will be healed! God is faithful to deliver us. God keeps His promises! Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our HOPE without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Have Perseverance! Pursue your healing with aggression! Hebrew 12:1 says: And let us run with PERSEVERANCE the race marked out for us. Trust the Lord! He loves us more than we can ever imagine or believe. He is not the creator of evil, sickness, or negative things. Christ has already paid the price for those things. Proverbs 3:5&6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Have FAITH and PERSEVERANCE, TRUST the LORD! He has healed many people on this journey, Mel being one of them!! Have HOPE, BELIEVE, and BE HEALED!! Robin | |||
