Hello All; I have to figure out how to upload a picture or a scan file to my recipe posts , If anyone could help with that I would so appreciate it. I haven't tried this yet but I thought everyone could enjoy this if they choose. The psyllium husk powder can be substituted with flaxseed powder I think it's called... Ingredients: 3/4 cup +1 tbsp almond flour 2tbsp psyllium husk powder , can substitute with flaxseed powder if desired. 2tbsp. coconut flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4-1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 cup warm water Instructions: 1 . In Medium sized bowl , add almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder , baking powder, and salt .Stir to combine . Add water and olive oil and mix until dough comes together. 2. Knead the dough until it's soft smooth about 30 to 45 seconds. You may need to add a little more water if your dough is dry and fine its better to use almond flour blanched and not very fine. The dough should be slightly moist but not sticky. Add a little more coconut flower if its's to sticky. Roll it out. 1. cut the dough into pieces for the desired size of your tortillas. Roll each piece into a ball. Cover remaining dough with plastic wrap as you make each tortilla. 2.Lightly oil middle of 2 sheets of parchment paper or wax paper . Place one dough ball between the sheets and flatten with your hands. Then roll it out with a rolling pin. Don't roll to thin it might crack. Peel off the top parchment paper. Cook the tortillas: 1. Lightly oil non stick frying pan and heat it up over medium heat. Flip over the tortilla with the paper so the tortilla touches the pan, so that the sheet of parchment paper is on top, peel off the paper. 2.Cook tortilla over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, flip over and cook for 1-2 minutes. Place cooked tortilla on a plate and cover with a kitchen towel.. Repeat process with remainder of dough pieces. Enjoy ! Download Audio File | ||||
