Shepherds Pie

1 lb of grass fed beef, 97 lean
1 can Organic Low Sodium Green Beans
2 Organic Celery Stalks, Copped
1 C Low Sodium Beef Broth
1 Large Brown Egg
1 Large Bag of Frozen Cauliflower (or Fresh)
1/2 White Onion Chopped
3 Garlic cloves minced
3 Tbs of Organic Tomato Paste
2 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Paprika
Black Pepper & Himalayan Salt to taste

First to start by cooking the hamburger, well, it’s cooking. Go ahead and put your cabbage into a pan to steam to make it soft, when the hamburger is fully done, drain off the grease, and remove from the pan. Then sauté the onion, celery and garlic. Cook for approximately five minutes until you see the garlic in the onion cooked well, then add the hamburger back in, one cup of the broth in seasoning. Bring to a boil, let it simmer as the broth begins to thicken. Add 3 tablespoons of the tomato paste, mix well. Then drain the green beans, and add them, stirring everything together.

Place this all into a pie pan. Since the cauliflower is probably steamed completely, remove it and drain it well. Use a mixer to turn it them mashed potatoes, mix in the egg & butter. You will not need to add any milk.

Once it’s completely mashed, lay it out over the top of your pie. Bake at 350 for approximately 30 to 35 minutes or until the edges are golden.

Once you pull it out of the oven, let it cool for approx ten minutes and serve.

A few options are adding some additional seasoning if you prefer I like a lot of pepper and I added some extra garlic powder.

You can use a whole entire onion if you want, I only used half an onion, because of the histamines they include could create issues for some.

Also for those who can have some dairy, you could lightly layer some shredded cheese in between the meat and the “mashed potatoes”.

This was so darn delicious and I know once you make it you will want it again next week!!

For the whole size of a normal pie pan, it made four good size servings.

I hope you enjoy!!
