Hi Donald,

Today I had an appointment with a Primary Care Physician that my husband was referred to by someone from our church. It was someone who overheard my husbands conversation about me thinking that I might have Lyme. This gentleman gave my husband the name and number of a friend of his, whom also has had Lyme before.
I called her the next morning, and she was very nice and gave me the number of the doctor who first tested her for Lyme. So after talking to her I called the doctors office and was able to get an appointment the next day, which was very fortunate because my husband had planned taking that day off, so he was able to take me.
Since she's not a specialist, she was unable to do all the tests that I wanted, but she at least did the ones for Lyme, but also a few others. She's testing Vit D as well as B12, cortisol, adrenal function, Babesia, inflammation, and a few others. I tried to get her to run the CD57 test, but she said that the Infectious Disease doctor would need to test that, along with any other mold tests or tests for co-infections. I hope they come back showing accurate results. It will be good to know for sure and also be able to convince my family members that I have a legitimate disease.
They also took my weight while I was there, and I'm down to 118 (I'm 5'5 1/2" tall). This wasn't good news as I was hoping that I'd be above 120. But this is better than when I've been at my lowest weight which was 109.
If the Lyme test comes back positive, she'll be referring me to an Infectious Disease doctor which I hope will run more tests such as the mold and CD57. It would be great if they can run these tests because the Lyme doctors around here do not take insurance, they are purely out-of-pocket.
Have you started the lemon cleanse? If so, have you seen any positive results yet?
I was drinking lemon water for a few weeks, but when I stopped I noticed that my hot flashes went away. So I think that's what was causing them for some reason. I'm not positive yet, but will try adding it back to test it later. Nevertheless, I'm so grateful that they stopped. I was having about 15 per day, but also at night which was making it very difficult to get any sleep.
My hair seems to have gotten worse lately and I'm not sure why. Nothing seems to help. I didn't really notice much of an improvement with the cold water, so I eventually stopped altogether. I also tried the WPS, alcohol, as well as the Kleen Green, but they didn't work either. I may have to resort to wearing my wig from my chemotherapy days. I will dread this because it's uncomfortable, but at least with the cooler weather, it won't be unbearable.

I hope you're improving,

God Bless,
Anna
