A Season of Silence
When we become overwhelmed and discouraged we want to give up, we question our purpose and we become numb in the inside …
When we’ve kept pushing through and nothing happens and all we do is struggle, we begin to fill with fear of the unknown. Like Job…. our family, health, finances and our job fill us with uncertainty in every aspect and it’s as if our entire life has turned against us.
What we are up against continues to pull us down. We begin to doubt, and wonder why are we still breathing, why are our struggles so complicated….. but nothing, from no where, or no one, only silence.
I am reminded to press on in reading Gal. 6:9. Let us not be weary in well doing for in due time/season we shall reap if we faint not.
It is important that we remain confident moving forward even when we can’t see it, even when we don’t feel it.
So when you begin to fill up with confusion, doubt or despair, just know God is still working.
So many things can work when it’s quiet, why even our brain!! But for God, He can work no matter how complicated or loud anything is!
So for us, even when there is only silence, know there is peace and wait with expectancy.
Wait on the Lord.
Psalm 27:13 & 14
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”
