Dear Chrissie,
I just wanted to let you know how much you've been in my thoughts and prayers. You are such a vital part of this community...and loved more than you'll probably ever know.
I want to apologize to you...I cannot believe I missed the prayer last Sunday...you know I'm always at the conference and prayer calls...I rarely ever miss either one, and I'd especially wanted to be at the prayer call focused on offering prayers on your behalf.
So now it's confession time. My faulty reasoning let me down...and here's how it went. Mel moved the Saturday conference calls up an hour, so in my mind, he moved the Sunday prayer calls up an hour too (except he didn't).
So...I call just a few minutes after 2:00, my time, and...nobody's there! I immediately called Mel and asked him..."What did you do...forget to wake up from your nap? You'd better get with it so you can start Chrissie's prayer call!"
That's when Mel told me I'd missed it.
I am SO sorry!
I'd really wanted to offer you a personal prayer, but since I missed the boat on time, please know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers since your surgery. I ask God to please take away your pain and to please also send you some joy while He's at it.
So many of us are praying for you...and will continue to do so until you're back up and running.
