Mel asked me to post this, in hopes it may help others. I have discovered that using Hydrogen Peroxide soaked gause to clean and wipe the rashes caused by the pathogens, really helps! It will burn some ( not unbearable ), but the good news is that the pathogens hate it and it seems to help with healing.
After it dries, I follow it with sovereign silver gel. I also due this same thing with apple cider vinegar and the gel. Both are effective, but I think the peroxide is better.
Both treatments seem to help with the itching. Before bed, I'll do one of these treatments, let each one dry well then put Vick's Vapor Rub on for moisturizing. This has helped me a great deal!! Hope it helps someone else!!
