Welcome as always.
In the first post on this thread back in June of 2011, we predicted the ultimate outcome of the CDC findings. I remember saying in capital letters "I SURE HOPE I AM WRONG".
I encourage you all to scroll down to the bottom and read the entire thread because my response to Lanie says it all.
As expected, we now know that the $600K our taxpayers invested in this study appears to be a grand waste of resources. Despite that disappointment, the comment made by Felicia Goldstein, Emory University professor and one of the co-authors of the study rises above the stench like a ray of light in the darkness:
"The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."
Keep the faith loved ones. You are not suffering in vain. Press on toward the high calling that has been placed on your life and remember the words of the ancient Hebrew prophet Joel:
"I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker worm and the caterpillar and the palmer worm, my great army, which I sent among you" (Joel 2:25)
At this time it is wise for all of us to remember that ALL TRUTH PASSES THROUGH THREE PHASES:
First it is ridiculed - which is where we felt we were back in June.
Then it is violently opposed - which we all must endure.
Eventually, it is accepted as self evident. I still believe we shall reach that place together.
