As I said when I shared this same info with our Facebook family, this is critical action time for those who value their supplements. Your legislators need to hear from you about this early and often. Ignore this and you will be paying $100 a bottle for probiotics bought only by prescription - if you can get them at all.
The FDA is trying to place more stringent safety requirements on supplements (the vast majority of which pose zero threat) than they do on drugs (adverse responses from which are the #4 cause of death in our country).
These new requirements will literally bury all but the very largest (Big Pharma owned) supplement companies, and innovation in natural medicine will be stifled. Shameless power grab and a public gutting of a noble industry, and they are not even trying to hide it any more.
Better wake up folks or small companies like mine will not be around to serve you any more.
