I am sorry you have suffered toxic disease for three years now. But I am glad that you have come back and you are going to go on the protocol and follow the, 'sum of the parts.' Mel can help you, as can the community and you dont need to be alone in suffering this. It's soo important to have support when fighting this!!!
Regards laundry I have used Baking Soda (bicarbonate of soda in the UK) added to the wash(alongside a non biological detergent) and at other times I used Borax or Oxyclean.
At other times I have used Zorflora disinfectant(2 capfulls) as it contains Benzalkonium Chloride (which kills mites).
I found it was good to turn the wash on and let the washing agitate for a few minutes so that the ingredients percolated through the wash. I'd then turn it off for an hour to steep before finishing the wash. I found that helped for me. Everybody is different re what works.
