I've not been on here as frequent as I used to, but Mel pointed me to this post and I just have to say 'WOW!'
It's amazing, and warms my heart, to hear these wonderful, value-added posts from some of the men in this community. As you are probably aware, not too many men spend time on here to post, and I'm so thankful you two have found each other and have formed this bond.
My participation here is primarily to support my wife who has been working so hard to manage her symptoms. We found this community a little over 3 years ago and the progress she has made is significant, but as you've both mentioned, just takes time... it took a long time for the body to digress the way it did - it will take a while to dig back out.
But sticking to the protocol, eating right, getting rest, coaching with Mel, and being an active community member will put you light years ahead of anyone trying to do this alone!
Thank you both for your commitment to healing and encouraging others here (especially the guys!!) that they, too, can get well.
