Hello Auntie Cheryl,

Mum was laughing away at your funny comments re you waking up your husband by jumping on some squeaky toys :-). She says that you are funny. Funny is good, I approve of fun.

Besides, when I see mum laughing I always take it as my cue to smile back. I smile with my wee furry mouth and my gold coloured eyes and then I run to mum and fling as many toys as I can at her feet. This is so we can resume game time and fun.

Auntie Cheryl, when you see your husband smiling do you fling toys at his feet for him to throw for you too?. If not, why not?. We should never waste an opportunity for fun and frolics.

Mum said it is especially important as we are on our healing journey to still be able to laugh at the absurd and to be daft (the Scots word for silly) at times.

I will tell you this auntie Cheryl, mum has no problem being a dafty it comes quite naturally to her :-). In saying that, it takes one to know one, I guess I bring it out. We are both as silly as each other at times. But it sure helps our sanity.

I hope that you and your husband do something very daft today and that it makes you both laugh outloud :-).

Sending love as always,
Holly woof X
