Sorry about the late response.
My husband and I remained sleeping in the same bed from the very beginning of my illness. He did show some signs of the illness, but far more mild than mine. He was actually the one who began coming home from work with flea bites on his arms, then about two weeks later our house became infested with springtails, which an exterminator told us were feeding on the fleas that my husband unknowingly brought home from work. It was then that my I became sick with this illness. I think the reason my husband didn't get as sick as I did is because he has always had a very strong immune system and was never sick. I, on the other hand had a terrible immune system, along with autoimmune issues.
As soon as I felt comfortable, we resumed being husband and wife. That decision is different for each person.
I did separate my and my husbands laundry (clothes, sheets, towels) from our kids laundry.
