I am absolutely delighted to hear that you are now being helped by the, 'HCAF.' It is a wonderful organisation, its absolutely great that it exists to help people all over the world who cannot afford the protocol. We recipient's are indeed blessed and lucky to be helped!!!
I know how you felt so elated when you were told by Mel that you would be helped!!! I jumped around for joy when I was told too. I think my dog thought I had finally lost my marbles that day :-).
I have heard your disabled son in the background of the prayer call. I feel for you, as I know it cannot be easy being a caregiver especially when you are unwell yourself! I'm sure you do a tremendous job taking care of him. But I am very glad that you are now being supported by the foundation. So that you can now be helped yourself, in your journey towards healing. It's lovely that isn't it, being held up and cared about in your time of illness and weariness!!! Its like a pair of trusty armbands in stormy seas, helping you to swim to calm and safe waters again.
So rest assured Vel, that you will get better with this healing help re the medicines and with doing the, 'sum of the parts.' Also, being a part of the community really helps, taking part in the conference call Saturday and prayer calls. And writing in the forum and reading all you can in the website. It's a great website!!! Getting coaching from Mel and having support from community members too.
I am so glad that you are no longer alone fighting this.
