Hey everyone,

I finally have a day off from work etc. and can sit down and write a post today. It is a good day. Not working, no going to the hospital twice a day for my mom (she had a gallbladder attack last weekend and my sister was out of town, not that I am complaining about my mom being sick), only one appt. this afternoon.

I was having trouble getting through to the dr. who did the scope test. I kept calling and leaving messages with no call back and then no way to leave a message at all. I called a different dr. in the same practice to see if that dr. was still there and they twice sent me to their phone line where no one answered again and then finally after 3 calls, the girl walked to the office and asked them to take my call. The lady who answered said she just got the dr. notes to write me a letter and told me that the news was really good, there was nothing wrong but a little gastritis. I was both happy to hear this and unhappy not to find out why at least once per week I have an upset stomach and vomiting. So she said just get on your knees and be thankful you are so healthy. Hunh?

So I asked what kind of dr. do I go to next to find out what could be the cause and she said she would check with the dr. She called this am, phone rang 3x and she hung up before I could get to the phone. I called back again having to call the other dr. who connected me to the 1st dr. office. The girl said the dr. wrote an order for an ultra sound and gave me the no. to call for appt. I called and that is the appt. I have today. Keep you fingers crossed that maybe this will be an answer.

Anyway, enough of that, my granddaughter is doing better. She saw her mother last weekend. She was missing her as it had been almost a year since she saw her and it was her little brother's birthday. They got together last weekend and once more she got her heart broken. I won't get into details but it seems that she remembered how hard seeing her mother was before and got it out of her system again for a while. She seems happier again, praise God.

I don't mean to sound gloomy but it has been rather stressful which I know isn't good for my health and I cried a bunch the other day. It has been hard working and not feeling well which I know we all have to do. Maybe the stomach issues are just this disease and I know that the medicine is what has made my prognosis from the first test so much better than before and getting sick is farther and farther between so I am grateful. I do know from experimentation that I can't eat butter, beef, and even lettuce sometimes bothers me.

I was especially grateful to get my vitamins yesterday and thank everyone who shares in helping to save my life literally. Thank you so very much. It is helping me to be able to live in a better place, apartment, mentally, physically and taking care of the most important thing to me, my granddaughter.

Blessings to all!!
Linda
