I can't believe how long it has been since I posted here. I am feeling so much better compared to 6 months ago. I believe that is how long I've been on the protocol. It is so amazing how much better I am, yet having had this almost 13 years I think it is going to take some time. I am so happy for the people who are doing and will be doing the happy dance. Hurrah for you!!! The song I tried to post a while back "Warrior" by Hannah Kerr really speaks to me and gives me inspiration when life and illness get hard to take. I have been noticing how beautiful the flowers are this year. I didn't remember more beautiful flowers in the past few years. Then it hit me, duh, you had cataract surgery and this is what flowers really look like. LOL I do believe seeing better also helps with the tiredness. I went to an appt. with my psychiatrist today. She ordered blood work last time I was there and the results were great (thank you LOGOS), except for Vitamin D. She said get on it right away. Also, she mentioned that the medication (pantoprozole) which I take for my stomach shouldn't be taken long term. I've been taking it for 3 years. Apparently it can cause problems with absorbing nutrients from food. So that is the end of pantroprozole for me. I will figure something else out. I am just ecstatic that Cheryl is back on the calls as well as Chrissie and Jamie I am praying for you. I am praying for everyone here; what a wonderful group of caring friends. I am also glad to hear new people on the calls and last week I was blown away by how well John from Australia explained the protocol. The nebulizer that some of you are trying out sounds like a great idea and I can see how it could help. It sounds like a good investment. I have had quite a bit of stress the last couple weeks but hopefully it has been resolved. Also, I cut back from 4 to 3 days of working per week so I can get more rest and less stress. Unfortunately, I had to work Sunday so four days in a row. I had to cover for graduation because there wasn't anyone to work. I was so exhausted. I was sitting on the stairs listening to the call Saturday and heard John from Australia and then next I heard Mel's voice and realized I had fallen asleep on my phone. I panicked and hung up because I didn't know if I was called on. It seems like I have been purging quite a bit the past few weeks (better out than in). I know the hot weather makes me worse so I am drinking a lot of water. Sleeping is hard for me but I will be sleeping more as MacKenzie is out of school and I can sleep in (at least 4 days per week)!!!! So I hope you all have a blessed 4th and hope to talk to you all soon. Love, Linda | |||
