I have never heard anyone with toxic disease say that they found a Dermatologist who was truly helpful to them, so don't be discouraged if this one isn't helpful to you. It's good that he took a clipping of your toenail to check for fungus though.
It sounds like you have been working hard on your holiday. I'm glad you were able to get rid of almost all of the evidence of this disease in your hotel room.

I've never heard of an electrostatic sprayer. I know you're glad that it seems to be doing such a great job of disinfecting and killing insects. Hopefully, it will continue to do so. You'll have to post and let us know.
I hope you and your husband are enjoying your holiday in Italy. I hope ya'll see many lovely sights.
