I just wanted to tell you how much I loved the Lord's Prayer idea.
Yes...we were a little off...but you thought of a great solution to get us back on track...who ever is leading the prayer to say one line at a time, and then the rest of us to say the line in unison directly after afterward.
I think that will work! But even if we're not perfect, that's ok...it'll be heard from Above.
I also think we should do it every week...it is really such a wonderful prayer. I heard a sermon on it many years ago...the pastor went through the Lord's Prayer line by line and related it to it being the perfect guidelines to live by for just one day at a time...thus the part..."Give us this day...". The pastor went on to say that if we tried to keep the lines of the Lord's Prayer in mind each day, we would have a better life.
I agree! And...I think that would be a great touchstone for us all. It's so easy to get upset with this disease...but if we take each day one at a time and apply the principles of this great prayer, it will surely benefit us on every level.
