One of the new things for me this year is affirmations from the Lord. I have them written down on post-it notes, reminding myself of them all, and even currently working on studying those in God’s word. To strengthen my mind, which intern helps to strengthen the body.
Psalm 103:2-3 bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget, not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases.
A prayer for healing. “Father, help me to keep my focus on You when the pain and hurt are overwhelming. Help me to be faithful and see the good and the blessings surrounding me. Please strengthen my mind, heart, and body, and heal me today. May the Holy Spirit guide me in peace and comfort. Amen.”
As Dale did, I encourage you to find the words in the Bible that are linked all to healing as well and read them and to keep your mind focused on them as well as your personal attributes. I know with this illness we will probably feel like there is none, but in fact you do have them, you just need to dig a little deeper and not to beat yourself up with the negativity! You are worthy!
If you are wanting to look up additional verses for healing, look at this website. This is where I was able to locate the prayer that was included above. It’s biblestudytools.com and search for healing bible versus.
Stay positive, pray, and may the Lord be with you all.
