Dear Vanessa,

I understand your dislike of doctors now, especially in the light of what we have all been through with toxic disease and being gaslit by them regards it for the most part. Most of us avoid doctors if we can, absolutely. That said the tests you had cover Thyroid function quite well. With normal TSH, Free T3, Free T4 and antibodies, it strongly suggests your thyroid is working normally. And there isnt evidence of conditions like Hasimoto's at this time.

The key thing to separate is function versus structure. Blood tests check how the thyroid is working( hormones), whereas nodules are about what the thyroid physically looks like (a structural issue). So even a very full blood panel wouldn't tell us more about nodules.

If there are concerns about nodules (whether new or the same ones from years ago), the appropriate next step is an ultrasound rather than more blood tests. But I do understand that would be a last resort for you.

In terms of iodine it is only helpful if you have confirmed deficiencies. You need to know what your dealing with or it could potentially make matters worse. Thats good if magnifizyme is helping a bit.

Take care,
Chrissie
