Prayer is not a monologue, but dialogue; God's voice in response to mine in its most essential part. Listening to God's voice is the secret of the assurance that He will listen to mine.

PRAY ABOUT IT: Our prayers are frequently monologues with no chance for God to get a word in edgewise. And yet what God says to us in prayer is vastly more important than what we say to Him. Jesus Christ stands at the door and knocks for one reason alone - - - He desires fellowship with you.
Today, spend time listening and you'll actually find that you have less to pray for. He will give you answers before you ask.
