MAGNIFICENT PRAYER by NICK HARRISON

Therefore, if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort
of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and
mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same
love, being of one accord, of one mind. (Phil. 2:1-2)

It is when we realize our oneness with Christ in death, and in
resurrection, that prayer becomes the marvelous force that
we find it was in the life of the Savior, the invincible dynamic
that it reveals itself to be in the book of Acts; and the ineffable experience of the great saints of the ages.
(F.J. Hurgel)

PRAY ABOUT IT: We don't pray alone. We are one with Christ and it's through Him and by Him that we pray.
Watchman Nee once declared that the secret of victory was never to see oneself outside of Christ. This is particularly true as we pray. We are empowered by the One who lives in us. We are one with Christ, bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh.
In prayer today, see yourself united with Christ and then
pray from that place of security.

Wilt thou say, "Yes!" to all His longing for union with thee,
and with a glad and eager abandonment, hand thyself and
all that concerns thee over into His hands? If though wilt, then shall thy soul begin to know something of the joy of union with Christ. (Hannah Whitall Smith)
