COME AWAY MY BELOVED

O My child, I have loved thee with an everlasting love.
With the strong cords of My faithfulness have I bound
Myself to thee.
Throughout all the days of thy sojourn, I have been
deeply concerned for thee, nor turned I My attention
from thee at any time.
Darkness may have pressed about thy soul, but I was
near at hand.
The night of affliction may obscure thy vision, but the
night and the day are both alike to Me.
When thou passeth through the waters, I am with thee.
Whether thou seest Me or not, I am at thy side.
Though at times thou feelest only aloneness, yet Mine
hand is upon thee, yea, Mine arm doth encircle thee,
and Mine heart is touched by thy grief.
I suffered in all ways as ye suffer, but ye shall never
suffer as I suffered;
for I experienced one awful moment of separation
from the Father;
but I have promised that I will NEVER forsake thee,
and I will NEVER leave thee. |
