A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul. (Proverbs 13:19)
Prayer is so necessary, and the source of so many
blessings, that he who has discovered the treasure cannot
be prevented from having recourse to it, whenever he has an opportunity.
(Francois Fenelon)
PRAY ABOUT IT: Those who will continue in prayer are those who have learned its secret: that prayer is the fountainhead of every blessing. Once we've discovered that, by personal experience, nothing can keep us away from praying. Today, what is the longing that God can fulfill that will be sweet to your soul?
The spirit of prayer is more precious than treasures of gold
and silver! (John Bunyan) |
