Rockin Robin,

Thank you so much for thinking about me, and your prayers! I am thankfully staying positive for the most part.

I've been cooking so much with the help of all the recipes on the web site. With working full time, all the extra time it takes cooking and learning new recipes and where to find these ingredients is a lot to get used to.

After talking to Mel, my homework was to read about the diet and learn how food is medicine. Right now, this is the biggest adjustment. I haven't eaten anything off the diet for at least two weeks now, maybe longer? I feel a lot better and have a lot more energy too though. I can't believe I'm completely off my antibiotics! Actually right now I'm drinking ginger yogi tea that I put lemon juice in and then Sweet Drops Stevia, and cayenne pepper. It's actually good! I hate that crawly feeling so I am going to drink this a lot.

I also found a really good way to make my skin on my face feel better. It is swollen, itchy and painful. I have been doing this morning and night after I get out of the shower or wash my face and it's all natural:

I mixed 1/2 cup witch hazel, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, and 1/4 cup distilled water. Just use as a toner with cotton balls. Never double dip in this mixture.

Also once a week I use sea salt that I poured olive oil over to cover it and use in the shower once a week on my face. This has made it feel so much better, then I use that toner on there when I get out. Then coconut oil after that for moisturizer.

I was so tired from having so much fun with my son yesterday that I slept till 1:30 today. Oh well, guess I needed it. We played at the park outside for 3 hours at a time. Once in the morning and again after dinner.

Does being outside make anyone else's skin problems worse? For me it always has.

I missed the call this week, and am sad about that. I'm going to be listening to the one from Saturday though that Mel posts, so I can at least feel like I'm still kinda in the loop.

Thanks again for your prayers and thoughts and encouragement. Have a great week! It feels good to have people like you who care. I will say a prayer for you too, so we can agree together and are prayers will come to pass!

Thank you!
Desiree
