I FEEL GOOD, AS MY BROTHER JAMES ONCE SAID
Well Mel...

As always you are the bounce back king. Congratulations on the news yesterday that your knee swelling is down by 80%. That is ALL due to your continuing efforts in taking full responsibility for your health. You researched and consulted to find out what to do at home and you did it consistently and with full expectation that it would work. And it's working! Will it be enough to help you avoid surgery? That remains to be seen...but whatever route this leads to, you will be sure to come out of it with the best possible results because of your due diligence and positive attitude.

For anyone new reading this post...this approach is typical of Mel...he's come out of so many health and injury crisis in his life that one might think he's bullet proof. However....when one looks closely, a pattern emerges. When faced with a health challenge, Mel goes deep into discovery mode to find out what to do for any given situation. He believes in the power of holistic and natural approaches, but goes to the doctor when it's warranted. He understands the rhythms and timing of the body's healing mechanisms. And...he adjusts his attitude of one of complete positivity and hope with an abiding faith in God.

This formula has worked for him for years...and the "sum of the parts" is a natural outgrowth of this approach which has allowed him to live a long and meaningful life.

Not only has he managed to defy health challenges that would have put most people into the land of defeat...he's managed to maintain his looks quite nicely for a man his age as well.

As a matter of fact, I saw him on Zoom yesterday...and he looks great. I did wonder if he'd made a deal with the devil to look so good at his age...but no...the devil is not a part of anything in Mel's world...quite the opposite.

And all of this is very encouraging...because....Mel is showing us what can be done with knowledge, perseverance, and attitude.

Thank you Mel...it takes guts to be at the front of the line forging your way into the unknown...and we appreciate you showing us how to do it!

Love,

Karen
