Hello and Happy Friday to you all! After speaking with Mel the last couple of days, the below song lyrics is all I can think about...

"Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay. My, oh, my, what a wonderful day. Plenty of sunshine headin' my way. Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!"

As many of you know, Mel had his pre-op evaluation on 9/8/21 at the Reno Orthopedic Clinic (ROC). It was there the head nurse introduced Mel to the Dr. To Mel's bewilderment, this Dr. was a stealth-looking mid-30 year-old Dutch with sandy-brown hair, blue eyes, and reminded Mel of himself at that age! (Did Mel cross into the quantum to see himself for healing?!)

After getting caught up on Mel's timeline of getting to this stage, which nearly took 3 months, the Dr. asked about Mel's pain. Over the last couple weeks, Mel has been feeling pretty good and so the Dr. wanted to do some manipulation to his knee to see where he could draw the pain. Didn't matter which way the Dr. pushed, pulled and prodded the knee, Mel felt no pain at all.

The Dr. was amazed by this and said he's never seen anything like it - when an X-ray shows his knee and that he should be in way more pain than what the Dr. can actually feel for. Mel told him about the Logos supplement regimen, which the Dr. actually knew quite a bit about the supplements and is knowledgeable of Logos Nutritionals. Mel told him his stories of dealing with pain... plane crashes, run over by a drunk driver, and living 30yrs as a cripple. The only thing the Dr. could say was that there's just a smidge of arthritis in the knee, but even that he is amazed it's not more, given Mel's age and athletic history.

So here's the scoop on next steps... Dr. gave Mel a Cortisone shot and wants to see him next month. If Mel shows even more improvement, the Dr. wants to order an MRI for the clinic's own records and research of this kind of healing - at absolutely ZERO cost to Mel!

Y'all - this is truly a story of God's work through Mel. He ain't through with him yet and will see that Mel's health continues long after this to ensure WE restore our health! I believe in God's glory and power, but when I hear this story and all Mel has endured, I'm still blown away in awe and wonder of God's work - He is our Lord and Savior!

Mel is happy as a clam (he actually used a different analogy about a pig but hey, this is a family show :). He's so thrilled and gives it all up to the Lord.

Thank you all for your continued prayers for Mel's healing, and thank the Lord for seeing it through!

God Bless you all and we'll see you soon!
