I am so glad that you finally navigated your way to this website. You are definitely in the right place.
We all have our horror stories, including myself. We all felt absolutely desperate when we arrived at Mel’s doorstep.
It does get worse before it gets better, as both Mel and Laura mentioned in their posts. Believe it or not, that means the protocol is actually working. It’s kind of like disturbing a huge bees’ nest at the start. The microbes have made a home in your body, and they were pretty comfortable. When you start fighting them with the protocol, they let you know how displeased they are, hoping that you will stop. It will get better—but it takes time and a lot of bravery.
Mel will help you—he has been helping people for almost 12 years. There is a lot of additional support, too: a lot of amazing people who all unfortunately were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’m a high school teacher who has worked at the same school for 32 years. Not for one day did I ever “imagine” what was happening to me. As much as it is way past my worst nightmare, I have learned through this experience that I am way stronger than I thought, and I have committed myself to doing what it takes to slowly but surely claim my body and my life back.
There is a silver lining in all bad circumstances. Through all I have been through, I am learning to take care of myself, I have developed some of the deepest connections with others that I have ever had, and I have grown closer to God: the greatest gift of all.
I recommend coaching with Mel and getting involved as much as you can with the forum. Come to the weekend calls. Read as much as you can.
