Hi Laura

Thank you, that was the first place I looked and I found it easily. I have begun to read and plan to read again from the start tomorrow when I've had some sleep. It's difficult to know where to begin sometimes, so it's very helpful of you to point me towards it, especially when it something you feel would particularly resonate with me.

I've definitely come across what I would call some warriors when it comes to all this, and Peter surely is a great example. I definitely feel that I will understand the importance of the protocol as I understand the science. I'm already at the stage where I'm not in any doubt that I need to do this, and that the sooner the better, it's just getting my head around how I'm going to make it all work in practice for me and in a way that I will be able to maintain.

My mouth felt very dry the other day with just water and tea, and I felt very fatigued so I ended up buckling and having a swig of pineapple juice. I went to the cinema and I resisted any refreshments but was so hungry when I got home, and lost for what I could make to eat, that I went out and got a small margherita pizza just because I was so drained and had migraine from hunger. I manage to eat fields of vegetables but find it difficult to fill myself with them without sitting and grazing all day. I am already underweight and losing more rapidly. I need to work out what all my best alternatives are.

You don't even know how much your sentiment about writing being therapeutic, and then later looking back at what you've accomplished, it echoes my life in many ways and I couldn't agree with it more.
I will have to read your thread too, if it literally means that you've written poetry about your experience, then I'm sure I will get a lot from that.
I may well start one in the future, I will certainly consider it as I progress and see if a point comes where my instinct tells me that it's time to do so.

Definitely I have to start somewhere, I've been surveying the mountain and preparing to tackle it. I just don't want to set myself up to fail and know that it's me ultimately that has to do it. I'm so eager to start seeing improvements that I wish I could sprint but one thing that has been made clear to me is that it definitely isn't a sprint.

Thanks again, I will definitely keep you up to date with my progress on here. It has occurred to me in the past, that this ordeal would teach anybody a bit of compassion, but strangely, that all the people I come across who suffer from this, give me the strong impression that they already were kind and compassionate. Nothing to dwell on obviously.

I just count my blessings that I've found everyone here. Also apologies to everyone if I don't reply for a few days sometimes, I try my best to make time to spend on here as often as I can.

Hope you are doing well and thank you again!

God Bless
John
