Hi Ruth, Happy Christmas to you!

Sorry for the lateness of my reply, it's nice to hear from you.

Thank you,
Yes it is a very unpleasant experience and aftermath too. After the desperation of being badly advised like that, to then be snapped at for not being happy to follow their advice, just makes it feel as if, on top of letting you down, that person has now turned the people in the best position to potentially offer moral support, against you, and/or worthwhile ways of now proceeding.
It feels very unjust and I really don't like to be patronized or spoken to condescendingly, especially with the pretense that they aren't being. He actually said the sentence, "I'm not a charlatan", last time, which I thought further suggested a weighted obsession with psychology. 'What is he thinking??' Well yeah, you read my mind, doc, so more credit due on that side of things...

I'm really relieved at how welcome my questions have been and I will continue to read, also.

Yeah, I understand the importance of working on the inside out too, and not getting to carried away with any seeming improvement/lessening of surface symptoms.

When you said about colon cleanse, is that related to what I said about senna? I'm guessing that it is, sometimes I'm not 100% sure if things are slightly different, or are the same.
Maybe I could try the cleanse that you did, if you would highly recommend it.

Thank you, yes the diet changes have been/are proving very difficult at the least, but I'm trying my best to persevere and not get discouraged.

I have bad reactions to nuts and they often seem to dry and close my throat, which is an added complication of this diet for me, and being able to continue getting enough nutrition. I will look for the oat cakes also, I did find some gluten free oat biscuits the other week, that were very nice, but had sugar in them.

I will definitely try your way of making scrambled eggs and also your salad dressings. I have been thinking about ways of getting more garlic into my diet. Most of my previous ways were breaded or involved pasta/pizza etc. Thank you that is very helpful.

Yeah I have been using coconut oil but have sometimes been inconsistent with it. I have mostly been spraying kleen green and then putting a hat straight on, but I have rubbed oil in after a bath with kleen green in it. I will start making an effort to use coconut oil after too, as much as possible.

Indeed, I feel very low after the appointments for a while, while I take it all in, and then when I begin to refocus, the copy of the letter to my GP, reiterating the clear fallacies, and compounding the futility of the process. This time, it made me feel more resolute and clear-minded when the dust settled, and the development with our old family doctor was also very timely and encouraging.

Yes, thanks to Mel and others, people are getting better, which is the only real objective.

I've been cleaning my climbing boots...

Hope you are getting on well Ruth, and have had more opportunity to rest and recuperate, over the last few weeks.

Wishing you and your loved ones a beautiful Christmas and end to the year!

God Bless
John
