YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE , WELCOME!
Firstly.. I want to say thank you for all of the positive responses. It truly does mean a lot.

Second.. I ordered the supplements several days ago, and have since scheduled a "newbie call" with Mel. I feel like that's a pretty good start. I plan on attending the conf call on the weekend... but with 4 kids, and a chaotic civilian job.. that may change.

During the time since my last post, I had came to a conclusion that I was going to the wrong type of doc. I tried to get an appt with an infectious disease doc at KU Med.. come to find out that requires a referral. I contacted the PA at the local joint via message online. Didn't hear anything back for a day or two and figured that they were hands off at that point. I got a call Wednesday (I think?) from the LPN over there. She said they want to schedule a visit prior to a referral. I should say that between the time of requesting a referral and their call back to me, that I had decided none of them will actually help what is going on. So during the call I told her I don't want the referral anymore, and that I'll handle this myself. She asked questions etc. I had let her know that no one believes what I'm saying, I'm beyond frustrated and have begun to treat this myself. She said something along the lines of "would you like to come, just to make sure?", I had said that's fine. Mind you this is with their PA.. he's fairly young and appears green. I figured.. going in can't hurt anything. They called this morning, and wanted to reschedule me an hour sooner with the MD over there.. Again, I said fine. I've gone from reactive, to proactive.. and MD's, at this point, are just in my way. But.. I figured, let's see what happens.

I go in, and to my surprise the doc was fairly receptive. I didn't mince words with him.. may have cursed a few times. Expressed my frustrations with telling people that I'm not doing this or that; only to be met with a this or that diagnosis. Told him that I feel like I've got a handle on this.. and that this seems like it has finally reached a plateau. He wasn't dismissive at all.. which, honestly.. has been a first. So I explained what I'm doing... what I've done.. and what I plan to do. He was inquisitive, and asked about the supplements.. and also what I soak in the bath with. I told him.. also said that I know it sounds crazy... but it's working, and it's real. The bath soaks.. I can't understate, have made a huge, huge improvement for me. He mentioned that he wasn't asking to poke and prod, but if he ever had anyone else come in.. he would have something to reference, or a starting point. Idk if he was being genuine on that or not.. but I did tell him what I'm doing. I also said, that I truly hope you don't have to deal with anyone going through this. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.. and that's the truth. Again.. Idk, if he was being genuine; it felt like he was. He apologized for the frustration I've gone through, and wanted to write me the referral to the ID doc. I declined his offer, and said that I'll take care of this myself.

So I'm here. I found all of you and Mel. I'm doing this. I'm pissed off.. I'm motivated. I will conquer this.
