I wrote a response to your post last night...scroll down and make sure you see all the responses...sometimes an answer gets buried under other responses or gets ignored because it’s further down on the forum.
I’ve since thought of a couple of things I’d like to add.
Don’t delay getting started. I’d already said this but I’m sharing this to encourage you not to make the same mistake I made by wasting valuable time. I was so unsure of who to believe that I basically stalked this site for over a year. I’d read and read but never posted or came to the conference calls. If I’d have started sooner with fidelity things would have been so much easier.
The other thing is coaching. It’s the best way to fast track your progress. There’s SO much to staying in the sum of the parts and it requires a lot of reading and listening to past conference calls. I got coaching from Mel early on to answer my immediate questions and to help me to quickly understand exactly what to do. Having some banked time with Mel ahead of time is a great sense of security. This disease is so weird and it can present in many different ways throughout its course. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been so grateful to be able to pick up the phone and call Mel when I need quick answers or reassurance. In my opinion, coaching with Mel is just another one of the sum of the parts.
Have faith...it’ll definitely get better...it’s up to you now...ball’s in your court.
