12:40:40 PM | Who is outside your window; this was face-to-face!
As I returned from my mailbox with phone in hand a young coopers hawk perched on the swing set was staring down my bird feeders from a distance. Our eyes were locked in surprise and he didn't fly away!
For a moment I felt his kindred spirit, vibrant , young, with no thought of being ill. Reminds me that God takes care of the birds in the field.
He will surely see us through!!
P.S. later that day I found the nuthatch feathers from his lunch. That hawk never gave up!! |
