9/23/2013 10:51:28 AM | Hello Everyone and welcome as always. I thought that this was a great opportunity to ensure that we had clarity on the way that we've seen the protocol best utilized with children. Since there were no children with me during my time of illness, we have waited for almost four years to make any suggestions in this area which is solely based on the information provided by those parents who have seen their children's health restored. I have always been happy to say that children are typically much easier to help than their parents. This is the pattern that has historically produced the best results: Probiotics (Essential Flora) and Colostrum are the first step. Colostrum is usually replaced after a month or two at most with Candida Rid. While staying on colostrum indefinitely is not harmful, it is not necessary. Some parents have had success using only these three products along with coconut oil. Some have needed additional items, and when they do the first one is Complete Thymic Formula. When they can't swallow the pills or veggie capsules, parents have ground them up and mixed them with food (not hot). The little coffee grinders work well for grinding them up. As we have mentioned many times before, Logos products are designed for adult dosages, so when giving them to children you need to adjust the dose for their reduced body weight. According to John, there is no danger of overdosing anyone with colostrum, but as he always says, more than enough is wasteful at best. It should be noted that some parents who have not gotten satisfactory results with the limited protocol have turned to low dose MMS with great success. To learn more about some of these (Debra, Nicole and Theresa), take a look at the two posts Children and Morgellons and Hello Down Under. Having had no personal experience with children and Morgellons, I have never recommended MMS for them. Our first rule here has always been Do No Harm. However, experience is sometimes the mother of necessity. If you do decide to use MMS with children, do so with caution and don't give it with antioxidants or colostrum. Remember, most everyone who does not give up Hope gets well. God Bless; Never give up Hope! Mel |
