I am another person that is from your area (pompano) that has this disease. I am curious as to how YOU think you got this? I have since left Florida for a number of reasons, but mainly because of this disease.
As you can see from above, ther are many supportive people. PLEASE get the testing done, it has put me on the right medication and I am on my way to recovering (I have had this for over 5 yrs). Also, as Pam states, probiotictic and building up your immune system are extremely important.

I will contact Great Plains tonight to find you a doctor in Florida.
The real blessing is that these doctors have been referred to us by Great Plains labs so they should be morgellons familiar and morgellons friendly.
This is indeed a good place to find help,hope,and support.
It should bring hope to you that MEL is well.
That rhymes I think?
Also that we have had some of the same problems you have had and have some of the answers needed.
Would you consider being tested with Great Plains labs?
It would help so much as the tests pin point whats going on.
Getting on the protocol meantime should give you some strength so you can function a bit better.

| Hit wrong key, sorry! Anyway, Peggy there is hope and you have to realize it is like taking baby steps. You already mentioned that after taking Bactrim you have not had big outbreaks so that is a good start.
Main reason I am adding my two cents is that I've heard that taking predisone too long can cause other problems. Don't know how true this is but my neighbor said he was taking predisone for a rash and it caused a mild case of diabeties. Again this is only hear say, but just thought you might want to look into it.
I will be praying that you keep up your spirits. Just remember that others have gone before you and have found the way. There is light at the end of the tunnel!!

I'm a 3yrs.sufferer, but I'm not sure if my sympthoms add up to morgellons. I've not experienced the threadlike particles. However, I am chronic as I've had limited treatment during this time. I rarely ever have breakout after finally being treated with bactrim 500 mg. But my sympthoms are chills, itchy, crawley, prickly and sharp throbbing pain(under feet,arms,fingers,legs, hips and back). I expereince pains in areas where itch,crawley flairs up occur, which is usually in my head, chest, and abdomen all on right side. I have a sensation of things flipping on my eyelids and skin (more recently, I have been experiencing popping blood vessels in my eyes. I am easily exhausted, pains in my legs, which are now swallowen, difficulty walking because of excrusiating pain under my feet. Depression is now setting in.
I was diagnosed without test with scabies,which was retracted later,after treatment. I been on predisone and as I mentioned, bactirin.
Would you please pray for me.
Also, recommend a Doctor in Ft Lauderdale, (to include Pompano, Margate, North Lauderdale and Tamarac area) Florida. I appreciate your help and GOD Bless all. | | |
