| First,I want to thank Pat for the news that this disease probably is not likely to be communicable. This has been the thing a lot of us fear most and has kept us isolated from our families in the past.Cindy,I too,as have the majority of us,have been ridiculed due to the medical community's lack of knowledge on our disease.I am so much better that I sometimes forget I have the disease.Instead of spending money on MD's who are going off in another direction, please start the protocol asap and begin to improve your health.I spent so much money before I found this site. After I started the protocol,I was much better within 3 months.I work full-time and enjoy my life again.I have now been on the program since last June, full protocol in force by August.I was like you,my vision and hearing was a mes,I had large dark swollen areas all over.My head and eyes have not itched in several months.Itching is at a minimum and I have'nt seen anything in the last 2 months.I still have bites every now and then but they are becomming fewer every month.God bless and keep us all,Kathy | ps

| Cindy,
Your symptoms are fairly commonly reported in Morgellons. It is also common that doctors have not heard the term Morgellons and are unfamiliar with the symptoms associated with Morgellons.
I do however find it interesting that your doctor wants to send you to see a psychiatrist, "who wants to treat me for parapsychosis". I can find no definition for parasychosis, but it does show up occasionally on some Morgellons websites.
Did you take any of the articles we recommend with you to your doctor? They are: "Case Series", "Practitioner Letter", and "Common Laboratory Abnormalities" Live links for these invaluable articles can be found at the bottom of the Lab Testing Options page on this website as well as The Morgellons Articles page.
I recently returned from the 4TH Annual Morgellons Conference in Austin,TX. The question of communicability of Morgellons was addressed by a panel of the conference presenters. The consensus of the panel was that Morgellons is not easily if at all a communicable disease.

| My problem seems to be mainly in my hair but is now also affecting my eyes. When I say Morgellon's either they have never heard of it or they look at me like I am crazy. No one want to believe me. The day before yesterday I went to the hospital because my vision is so bad in my right eye I can't see. The sent me to an opthalmologist. He said I have bepharitis and a chalazion in my eye. In the past month my vision has gotten much worse, also. My fingers turn white and two fingers I cant even feel. I am nauseated, tired, and have gastritis all the time.
My Dr sent me to a psychiatrist who wants to treat me for parapsychosis. I have seen fibers and the black granules coming out of my fingernails and hands. I have white, black, red, and blue lint fibers allover my body. My hair looks like it's alive. I am so upset about this. I feel like no one believes me. I am afraid I will make others sick with it. I itch all over. Help!!! | Lisa D.

| Yes, I did the testing back in January but results were inconclusive except for the need for more Vit C and probotics. No bacteria and nominal fungus. I feel you have to fight this inside out but you can feel some relief from exterior products-but it will not go away w just that. The Vit C dosage is from my own research online on Vit C benefits while on antibiotics. I was also tested by an infectious disease doc in Dec for Lyme and had some positive parameters for it-I saw a post that said 90% of Morgellons also have positive lyme tests. Diet is important so avoid SUGAR! You will itch much more for the next 24 hours if you do have some. Sorry this is late. | ld

| On my last post 7/5 I started out saying MSS meant to say MMS for washing out the eyes. Not sure if it will work for I never did have that problem but it helped for other problems.
As for the sulfur soap and other sulfur products, if you do alot of research you will see that people say that sulpur may be one of the key items. As John B pointed out that Mel used Bactrim which is sulfur and Mr. Common Sense did not use Bactrim but recommends the MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)1,000 mg, the sulfur soap and Mr. C/S also recommends the increase dose of vitamin C along with NAC.(N-Acetyl-l-Cysteine) My blood tests showed that I was low in C, D, B so was told to up my intake of those vitamins.
Because everyone seems to have sulfur in the protocol I found some sulfur ointment from a local grocery store for $3.68 2 1/2 oz. that I use for my lesions and some MSM cream that I bought from a local chripractor but I am sure can be found in any health food store. The sulfur ointment dries the skin and lesions out (have to keep using it) so I use the MSM cream (which has other stuff in it) so that I will not peal.
Anything that irritates the condition I feel is working and you have to keep at it to get them out of your body. Just keep in mind that anything you get out of your body the less there are inside to multiply. I think that is why the people who find out they have this condition early have a better chance of getting under control. Also the gut has to be healthy (the DIET) in order to help fight it inside and that is why all protocols recommend the probotics. I also feel that you have to watch when you take any perscription like Bactrim and your probotics because the meds may cancel out your probotics. Logos Essential Flora is a good probiotic has 15 billion cultures. I also take American Health liquid Probiotic Acidophillus which has 20 Billion organisms. | LISA

| Tim or anyone else, two questions, but first background..
Am two weeks into this; tomorrow is my appt with primary doc who does not know problem I am bringig him. We did blood work week before symptoms of itchy, crawly, biting all over body...I want to go with Great Plains or similar testing ASAP I think.
Did my first bath with Sulphur soap and felt relief for 5 min. Then they went crazy and I could feel them crawling on eyelids most of night and in morning I could not see well. I think sulphur is something I should once--or twice now a day?
Tim, your prootocol of Bactrim, 10,000 units a day of Vit C and the vitamin protocol that is recommended including probiotics. Where did you get this regimen? Was it your first? And did you do testing first as is recommended? Did testing recommend it?
Also have Kleen Green product. Any help with that from anyone? | ld

| Laurie, You may want to try bathing in MSS and splashing the water in your eyes. According to A2Z it will not harm your eyes. Just follow the bathing instructions for bathing that comes with the product. I would keep doing it for at least a month unless you feel it is irritating your eyes. You can't expect instant results. It took me about 6 months to get rid of lice by soaking from head to toe, 3 times a day in MMS in order to get rid of lice that were imbeded in my scalp. | tim

| Hi Laurie, I am so sorry to hear how you are suffering. I have had this for over 2 years now but have made great improvements since March 2010 by taking the Bactrim, 10,000 units a day of Vit C and the vitamin protocol that is recommended including probiotics. I have had stinging on the outside of my eyelids in the past, but not inside the eye area. I stongly believe that this is bacterial but that is my opinion. | Laurie **
7/4/2010 2:50:27 AM | Hi Everyone!! I am in MAJOR need of ANY advice!!! I searched the Archives and did NOT find anything on this topic: lesions on my eyelids!! OWWWWWWWW!!! Mine seen to have a form of 3 pimple-like dots that start the lesion, One of those will spit out a black dot, the remaining 2 take MUCH MORE TIME TO SPIT out the black specks. The worst one is in the corner of my right eye. The dot is in the corner of the INSIDE lid. It almost looks like a stye, but it is not. There are 2 other dots off the eyelid, forming the triangle. It is ON FIRE!!!! The length of this one spans out to my temple. BIG! I also have a HUGE lesion in the CREASE of my upper eyelid. They DO tend to have a square end, but it has an 'M' look on the end, as if it is 2 horns eating it's way through my skin. This one is the entire length of my upper lid in the crease, I have a lump in the inside corners of both my eyes that have been there forever! I called EMS the night they moved down into their position and formed their hard nodules that I have now had for a couple years. They ALSO have that 'hook-like' at the end, as well. I have gone to the Opthamologist - he is sending ne to a Cornea Speialist, as he is scared to death to treat me since I am diagnosed with Morgellons. That appt is 1 1/2 MONTHS AWAY!!! I don't think I can wait that long!!! On Monday I WILL call mny Opthamologist and tell him my eyes are being attacked, and now I AM AFRAID OF GOING BLIND!!!! I REALLY AM!!!! Then I get all mad at the CDC and the INADEQUATE doctors that tell us we are crazy and to take this little 'happy pill'!!!! I calmly tell them one day I had NOTHING on my skin, the next day I woke up with ALL these lesions! Overnight. They are visible, YOU and I CAN SEE THEM! I did NOT ask for this, but I AM ASKING FOR HELP!!! PLEASE HELP ME! I get offered the 'little happy pill'!!!! AGAIN!!! The ONLY luck I have had is with U of M Dr's. They DO believe in Morg's. However, they have NO protocol they follow in treating this disease. They tell us about the CDC and that we can have 'Delusions of Parasitosis'! I NEVER told them I thought I had bugs, JUST LESIONS, ULCERS, AND SPOTS!!! They ARE behind the times in their paperwork they give us because they SHOULD KNOW the CDC REMOVED the DOP diagnosis regarding Morg's. So . . . Has ANYONE experienced Morg's in and ON their eyes? Do yours sometimes look like little hooks on the ends? If you do go to the CDC page, the division that IS researching Morg's IS the ZOONIC, PARASITIC DISEASES!!!! VERY interesting!! They DO KNOW NORE than what they are leading on to. WHY aren't they giving UPDATES like they said they would? We are suffering and I could lose my vision over this, and I am SOOOO worried! I have to KEEP my faith in God!! But, if anyone has experienced the 'eye' thing, could you please write back? I WOULD SOOOO APPRECIATE IT!!! Thanks! Laurie | | |
