| I have used the Hulda Clark combination, wormwood, black walnut, cloves for YEARS prior to contracting this . .and I have used the same combo after contracting morgellons. . . It didnt stop the morgellons for me. Same as you, I had numbness in toes, I fell down a lot, grumbling for words, charlie horses cramps in my legs. My immune system had been quite strong before contracthing this. Susanne | pamela mae

I have seen surveys asking people how they caught morgellons, and many different answers. There are no absolutes yet.

| I can realate to all of this...I've had every symptom here. I think it is both a contagious vector-mite infected with a bacterium that has been altered to 'not turn off'..thus the biofilm in the gut..this comes with a fungus that is very persistent. Also there is a lot of fugus both natureal(Frogs-Central America and SW US) and mycotoxins used in antibiotics-getting into the water system..plus used in agribusiness to substitue for chemicals to control pests. and that doesn't include experimentation in Wisconsin, California and other places by not just Monsanto..but others like Dow as well, and new companies bringing toxic molds from Siberia and Honduras here to experiment and use in agribusiness..continuing from the boll weevil research. But re helping with the cleaning and body healing Some very health conscious people..including some politicians were tested re heavy metals and other compounds and found to be extremely toxic..there was an article about this in my Dr.s office. I tried chelation but the mercurey and cadmium were so high that that method was making things worse as the stuff was being re absorbed. You can't help where you grew up. or the substances that we have been exposed tolike plastics in the past...what we need to do now is summarize all the things that have worked..problem is they may be cumulative..and the same thing won't work for everyone..at the same time..indeed even the symptoms are different. We, in a small community all got it from a contagious vector..but different people got various aspects worse than others. You could get it from the substance in the environment however and the pollution makes it harder to recover. They took the some of the frogs right out of their environment, applied anti fungals and saved them(National Geographic) this year sorry I don't remember the month. Has anyone from out forum tried Hild Staninger's protocol? Just wondered. I'm doing the prep for the lab rests at Grat Plains Labs right now. Joy or Joys coconuts are in season here....They seem to help. But breaking the reproductive cycle of the various critters in the environment is the first step..and I'm having trouble with that. I guess I've perceived 'things' as security or love. While I 'know' this is wrong the emotional drive is a challenge to overcome. Happy New Year to everyone..your love has kept me going, thank you so much. Sherry Taylor form Canada..great white north. | Anyone else still using Hulda Clark's recommendations of a combination treatment of a tincture of Black Walnut Green Hulls, plus tincture of Wormwood plus a tincture of cloves. GAIA has a combination of these tinctures which I have used with great benefitto help cure this disease and use now for maintenance. 30 drops of this tincture in about 1/3 cup of water for 2 or 3 times a day. For over a year, I had the numbness of toes, the scabie-like lesions all over my legs, the electric shocks down my legs sometimes when I scratched the sores, terrible leg cramps (Charlie horses) in the calves of both legs while lying in bed, brain fog, groping for words, clumsy walk - started falling a lot. My immune system had been quite strong before contracting these bugs. Almost all the symptoms are now gone. I kept up my organic diet and exercise along with Hulda Clark's recommendations. I had not heard about building up the bioterrain until I started reading here about five days ago, but my previous diet which I continued during my fight with this disease was similar to what one needs in building up ones bioterrain. | Marj to John B

| Hi John Your interesting comment about the same bugs, parasites etc in morgellons victims as in dead trees - could it be because bird mites look for food when their host has gone (eg birds leave the nest or die) and the only thing they can find to feed on is the tree sap (moisture perhaps) so they bore into them or make their sap toxic or something which in turn makes the tree sick and die? They in turn die because bird mites can only feed on birds and certain birds at that, I believe but not 100% certain of that. Our morgellons definitely came from bird mites. No doubt about it. We saw them and scratched them off our skin last Christmas. They came inside the house by their thousands through the air vents after the chicks had died and the parents flew away. Very hot Summer (Australia) so the chicks cooked I suspect under the tin roof of the house. I'd be interested in your thoughts or anyone else on this? Many thanks and kind regards Marj | Marj

| Hi Susanne Thank you - I would like to hear about your experience if that would be okay. I'm a little concerned that the zapper actually makes the situation worse. Morgellons is a strange beastie in that it doesn't respond like one would think a parasite or disease should to certain "cures". With thanks and kind regards Marj | Susanne

| I have used the zapper before and during Morgellons,I have 2 of them and have done zapping for 5 years, the zappers do not do the full job for this very odd illness or whatever it is. I wanted to email Hulda Clark to find her perspective on all this and any insight, but I was told she died.
We can talk in more depth later if you like, I can email you with my experience and how the zapper can aid this Susanne | Marj

| The information on this forum is great and helpful. Can I ask if anyone has used a zapper in conjunction with other things to help get rid of morgellons? My best friend and I have morgellons but our major symptoms are very different. I don't have the terrible itchy skin rash and sores although i do itch like crazy sometimes. We both have the black and blue fibres, web like white fibres, black spots, fuzz balls and little white things which fly away (I thought it could be static but not sure) and so on. I have been slam dunked by hypoglycemia and all that goes with it. We both have adrenal fatigue and struggle to think through fog at times. Pre-existing conditions are certainly magnified with morgellons as the immune system fails to cope with it. Now that we know what we're up against, thanks to a digital microscope and the internet, we're distilling our own water, making our own colodial silver water, detoxing, supplementing our diet with all sorts of things we'd never heard of before and tackling this from a cellular level, immune system level, elimination level (you'd be surprised how many morgellons are passed in a colon cleanse)as well as topically (baby wipes and Isocol work wonders at cleaning the area of itch and stopping the itch for good lengths of time) and finally general cleanliness in the house. We have dogs and cats so they get the parasite cleanse treatment too. We've discovered that we can't be over the top clean, paranoid more like it - that just doesn't work for us and we were getting a bit nutso with it, so we've relaxed a little and doing the best we can and it's working. Progress is being made. We are feeling better than we have for a long time. Still a ways to go yet, but we can see we're improving in all ways. However, I do want to know if anyone out there is zapping along with any sort of protocol and how they're finding it. We're finding lots of the web-like white fibres popping out of the skin after zapping and itchy as anything. Many thanks for any feedback. kind regards Marj from Australia (don't know anyone else here who has morgellons or any doctor who knows about it) |

| Hey Susanne.. yes, Diatamaceous Earth (or something spelled like that!).. just mix it with water.. I don't use it as much any more. I am so lucky I don't have lesions... however, much time went by before I realized something was REALLY wrong with me. I didn't know anything was wrong with my skin until black specks and other horrifying debris came out of it.
The FIR sauna is just a sauna that you sit in for a certain amount of time. I get in one around 100 degrees, and it will heat up to 130 degrees while I sit in there for 30 min. It really makes you sweat and it's very invigorating. I feel this has been really helping me, but I've been so busy lately, I've slacked off a bit. I'm ready to start going back for some more! | Susanne

I have the lesions all over, they are stubborn, I did to find ways to get rid of them, people get scared and think I have chicken pox, and I cannot get a job this way. Can you tell me what the far infrared sauna sessions are; I do have a sauna where I live. thanks for everything I think we should start another thread (?)- call it what you want | gigi22

| Susanne -
For detox of heavy metals, I'm doing NAC, far infrared sauna sessions, and ionic foot baths. I know the foot baths are controversial, but with everything I'm doing, I can tell my heavy metal load has been decreased. I was getting a really severe nickel allergic reaction a few months ago, and I got retested by the allergist, and it is now just a mild reaction.. so something is working. When I first started the foot baths, I would purge black specks from the tops of my feet as soon as the ionizer hit the water...so I kept doing them.. and now no more specks come out.. supposedly, the foot baths will pull out metals.
Also, next time I see my naturopath, we will be discussing supplements to use to chelate this stuff out..hope this helps...
I only had one lesion.. and its gone now.. I used a baking soda/epsom salt paste initially on it, then I used Sovereign Silver first aid gel, and a DE paste also helped dry it up. Most people rave about the DSP products and people say its helped them with lesions. | Susanne

The Selsun Blue.. the one I use is the one for itchy scalp - its in the blue/yellow bottle. It has 1% permytherin (sp?) zinc as the active ingredient.
If you go to the link at lymebusters, it explains all about the barley: http://lymebusters.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rash&action=display&thread=12711
I buy the 2-row pale ale malt barley, and it works well.. I soak it in water for 4 hours but don't add too much water.. you want it pastey and not watery. I then blend it and squeeze the water out of it by running it through a strainer. Take this water (should be thicker than water.. don't use too much water) and rub it in well, and then apply a thicker coating and let it dry for an hour. Then shower.
It works better than any topical antifungal I've tried.
Yes, I've read Mr. Common Sense's articles. He did his own protocol. You can read about it here: http://morgellonspgpr.wordpress.com/2009/04/20/its-all-about-the-terrain/
I am getting well and I have not used any MMS or silver internally - I have used the silver in my eyes and ears, but I did not take it internally. MMS and silver will kill all kinds of pathogens, but I believe what I suffer from is mostly fungal (likely no bacterial or viral).. so although I could still benefit from MMS or silver, I am getting well on antifungals, immune boosting supplements, probiotics, detox supplements, and detoxing my heavy metals. | Susanne to Gigi

| Hi. .its me again, I did not read all your text above, and doin it now. . I just got back from store and want to know which Selsun Blue, there were 5. | Susanne.. I live in NC...
About the lesions.. I did have what I thought was one lesion. It was one of the first signs, and I thought it was a boil. I aggressively treated it and it still took quite awhile to go away. Being that I thought it was a boil, I made a paste out of epsom salt and baking soda and pasted over it daily. I also tried a DE paste on it and also a sovereign silver gel. It eventually cleared.
I don't really know what the cause of the lesions are.. from what I've heard from others, the fungus may be responsible for causing the lesions?? Believe me, the collembola had plenty to feed off of. The fungus was really deep in certain areas of my body, especially my arms and stomach area... and I pulled collembola out of my arms with a lint roller and could see scratch-like marks when I applied something they didn't like on my skin.
Like you said, maybe I didn't get lesions because I was treating it earlier on... I actually didn't know what I was doing.. but I read up on a lot of protocols on the net and bought the ESP botanical products from the start and started using them (they have antifungal ingredients).. so all of this must have helped me. I took a lot of baths that would kill fungus, like apple cider vinegar baths, and epsom salt + baking soda baths... All of this must of helped! I was treating myself for severe candida with the use of diet and natural antifungals.. so obviously, this also helped me...
We absolutely need to attack this from the inside, outside and we need to attack the enviroment as well to prevent reinfection while we are healing..
Follicles - yes.. in the pore where the hair begins...
Well, I don't really have ulcers or lesions.. but I do get lots of pimples that aren't really pimples in areas that are infected. They do bleed easily if I mess with them.. and then I get a watery substance along with a yellow goo that dries crystal-like on the skin.. If freaked me out when it first happened, but now I just know that the area is infected with the fungus..
Maybe a new thread would be good? Maybe call it, 'It's all about the Fungus' :)

| Gigi, one more question-
will the fungus ever appear 'raw' or somewhat ulcerated and appear to bleed easily? Thats what I have, and it appears like fungus to me. (btw- I also had itching in the ears, for a long time now. I put garlic oil in the ears) Do you think we should start a new thread and call it Immune system, etc .. As this one is getting rather long, and the other people should see this stuff. | I meant I am on my way to get selsun blue right now per your suggestion. . I read about its antifungal properties on line. I feel we not only have to cure the fungus on the inside, we have to kill it on the outside as well, this will speed up things. I hope others are reading what we write. me | Susanne
9/20/2009 8:10:04 PM
| Yes, I would be willing to try barley treatments. I live in Florida, is that where you live? You are correct, that it is a mystery still. I think the reason you dont have lesions may be because you kept treating the fungus, so when the colembella came out to feed, they had nothing to eat and in turn lesions did not erupt. Now to the follicles, what do you mean by those? Is it the part at the pore where the hair begins? Explain. Fyi- the acitivity, biting and stinging has died down on me, still acts up on a rare occassion. Yet the lesions still remain and will not heal, they often flare to swelling, yet other times they flatten out back and forth. I am on my way to get Selsun blue right. WB | gigi22 to Susanne
9/20/2009 4:42:04 PM
| Susanne.. In my case, the fungal issues came first... I noticed all of the weird changes in my skin (dots, no pigmented areas, and film) and the biting and crawling and debris was observed later...
however, if I look back on things.. I was seeing issues with my skin a long time ago... I remember having problems with my ears.. lots of itchiness, espeically after a shower.. and then an itchy butt area (sorry this is TMI).. however.. it was more a problem with the skin even though my doc attributed it to hemorroids.. so.. this could have been candida or another fungal issue... I also had some visual changes in my skin a long time ago.. the red dots.. which the docs would say was normal, and eczema on my hands.. which was horrible especially in the winter time.. my body did a good job keeping everything at bay up til this year.... ...And with my high metal load in my body, lots of antibiotics in my lifetime, lots of carb bingeing and eating issues, I was a fungal disaster waiting to happen.. :)
So, I did have early signs... I just didn't recognize them until it was too late...
Now.. I know there is a lot of mystery to this disease, but once I realized the root of my problems were largely fungal, I spent most of my time attacking that part. and since doing that, the other external symptoms have died down.. I still see some black specks and I'm still pulling out some larva out of the skin, but the stinging, crawling, and biting sensations have stopped, and I'm seeing alot less fibers in the environment and on my body.. I also see no more bugs on me or in the environment... and when I was first discovering this problem, I had what I believe was collembola attacking and biting me in my home - they would leave physical bites and red marks/streaks on my skin. So, I know I am on the right track here.... at least in my case.
It would be great if people could catch this early! I have all of these weird things going on with me, and in my heart know I have a severe fungal infection, but my dermatologist would not do a skin culture on me. She thinks I have hypersensitive skin and that the gooey substance in my follicles is lotion (like I put lotion on my hair and eyelashes...).. so a lot of changes have to be made especially in the medical community. For doctors, if it's not something they've seen before or not typical, they cannot address it. Only if I had lesions or the areas on my body were raised and scaly would the doc consider testing me. So, alot of things need to change.
I live in the southeast.. but I have relatives that live in California, where this is really prevalent.
Suzanne - It's quite possible that your scabies did come first.. I know of many many people who talk about insect vectors, so it's quite possible the scabies mites left you with a fungal infection which jump-started the other symptoms. I've heard this from so many people... !!!!!
Would you be willing to try the barley treatment I mentioned in one of the posts above and see what happens? I'm very curious to hear how others do trying this... I didn't expect anything to happen when I tried it, but within minutes, my arms and back areas started to sting and rashes popped up on my body all over the place!!! I continue to do my treatments, and my skin is looking so much better! | Susanne to Gigi
9/20/2009 12:30:43 AM
| Hi Gigi, yes I agree other people should post their observations too. Quite frankly, i dont know if the scabies comes first, or the fungus. . I did get them both, and thought it was first the scabies biting at me and all else followed, maybe I'm wrong? however I know some of us have begun the protocols and hopefully will be cured eventually. Even with that being done, I still feel its pertinent to compare notes, we need to find out how this began. .it would be helpful for future reference that should not be disregarded. We can all get on a protocol and stay on it for life, what about the people that cannot afford the continuance protocols? Wouldnt it be helpful to discover preventions? AND if nothing else, awareness to catch early, that only makes sense. (btw- what area of the country do you live?) Tell me your thoughts. :) | gigi22

| Susanne -
I am not doubting your observations.. no one really knows what this is or whether there are different causes...
I was on lots of natural antifungals for candida for months before I discovered that I had M! This fungal infection attacks the hair follicles.. I did not get any lesions and you can't sometimes see the rashy areas unless you are treating the area with antifungals. That's why I didn't notice it for months. I did notice a weird film on my skin before all of the symptoms started... and on hairs that would fall out, I would see a gooey substance on the hair follicles.. I did feel some crawling, but I never had what I thought was scabies or any itching. I was on an anti-candida diet at this point, and it's possible this was the reason I never got itching? I did get biting, stinging, and crawling.. When I would get stingss, I could rub an antifungal in my skin, and a black speck would pop out... I was able to get rid of the crawling earlier on...
It's possible that we all don't contract the same organisms... or maybe there are different causes? I have read about the SuperScabies part... but I never felt like I had scabies.. It would be good if more people could post their observations.. ! | susanne to Gigi

| Gigi, let me explain one more time. The white spiders you do NOT see, you only will feel them crawling like scabies, there are 2 people who said this including this doctor who microscoped them and has been studying the for some length - they only came out and transformed into 'this' when in a defense mode after pouring these strong solutions on them and then swam . .this was all under a microscope. I can send you his writings if you like. The only only reason I thought it was true, is because my boyfriend then told me the very exact same thing and NEVER read that article! I DOUBTED my boyfriends and his family's word until I read the doctors articles. I know MOSt of us have had the scabies part, have been prescribed scabies medicine, some have already named Morgellons the SuperScabie- that is on the internet as well | Susanne
9/18/2009 2:53:23 AM
| Hi JOhn B, - You said above that these same organisms are found on dead trees. It is almost like these vectors think are bodies are dead, under the ground, and are eating our flesh and blood like soil. Does that sound familiar?
Susanne | Susanne
9/18/2009 2:49:18 AM
| Gigi, the white spiders cannot be seen without a magnifying glass, microscope or somewhat very good eyes. I believe they are a form of the scabie, at least when it is in the defense stanz, these show up that way- that is what a doctor said on the internet as well- he HAS them! They are suppose to have different 'forms'.
Truly, I am not 100% sure fiance didnt have Fungal infection, he never mentioned he did have one, I am going by what i witnessed .. we were not dating long, we engaged quickly and after both contracting this he ran away quickly. . he claims he no longer has them by taking drastic measures, and does not want to re-contract them, so he will only speak to me by phone or 20 feet away on rare occassion. as he says he must protect his parents and is scared.
At time of contracting,I was already taking antifungals, (I was managing my brothers 3 health food stores, he is homeopath and nutrionist and now lives out of state, so I knew about alot of health prevention things) I was always on a protocol which consisted of PARAGONE, I would take consistently in 2 week periods, Calipic Acid, Pau de Arco, and strong Garlic pills, 2 tsp straight black walnut daily, echinachea liquid and golden seal, THESE are all anti-fungals. I was also on an alkaline diet of granny smith apples, lemon, lime, stevia, greens, Greens plus and peaceful planet shakes daily. Lots of vegetables. I also used a Zapper which he bought me for Christmas , this was all prior to contracting the MOrgs So It doesnt make sense to me. Then I got the bites. I do not believe I had a weak immune system or fungus infection at the time . Maybe there is something i am missing . .I dont get it. What else? | Pamela Mae

You have excellent points!!! I do believe the things you are saying. A lot of my efforts are going into detoxing. One reason I think this became such an issue for me is heavy metal toxicity. I had one particular metal so high in my body that the lab could not measure it, so alot of my efforts are going into detoxing this out. I believe this played a big role in why I got so ill in the first place.
Suzanne - with regards to the antifungals, I use the barley, coconut oil on the skin, and selsun blue shampoo on the skin - mix the shampoo with salt for a greater effect. I use the ESP botanical soaps and balm, and also the DSP cream as well. Sometimes, I've used an olive oil with a tea tree oil.... |

| Susanne -
I understand the things you are saying.. and I can only speak from my own experience and discuss the things that are helping me.
How sure are you that your fiance doesn't have a fungal infection? Fungal infections can be highly contagious.. at the height of my infection, I was sprouting fungal spores everywhere in my environment. I only know this because with my high candida load, I would get really ill when coming in contact with mold or fungus, and I couldn't clean my environment without getting really ill. This infection eluded me for months because I have no lesions.. only a weird film on the skin, some areas where the skin has lost pigmentation, red dots, etc. If I look close enough, I can see slightly reddened skin.. but it most areas, my skin 'appears' normal.. even though the infection is sitting in the follicles. If I rub an antifungal into my skin or use peroxide, areas will light up and rashy areas will be produced. Also in areas that are infected, there is a film, or goo substance produced in the follicles.. I can see this when I pull a hair out or one falls out. Now that I have been focusing on these rashy areas with treatments, they have been reducing and my external symptoms have been dying down. It's not a typical fungal infection and doesn't look fungal.. which is why I can't get a doctor to sample it and ID it. I see signs of it on my husband.. but only because I know what to look for.. but he is not believing me at this point, unfortunately.
The white spiders.. I didn't get them.. not everyone does.. but I've heard others talk about them. I believe the fungus does attract these things possibly? If these white spiders are the cause, then why doesn't everyone get them? As far as the parasites and bugs that I had.. the weird dust and fibers were the first things I noticed. They were everywhere.. and I would pull fuzzballs, fibers, black specks, larva, and black threads out of my skin. I believe these fibers in the environment were partially responsible for this. I can dissolve these threads in my environment with a sodium borate solution, and a little black thread will appear in its place. I can see these fibers with a black light. Since my infection has died down, the fiber activity has too, and I am not cleaning as much as I used to.. I am spending more time on my skin. It almost seemed like these fibers are inactive unless it senses this fungal presence. I don't know how else to explain that.. Truly weird. I did have a few bugs.. collembola.. which feed, again, on FUNGUS.. and gnats I have pulled out of my skin, which are attracted to FUNGUS! I haven't had these bugs for awhile now that my skin has been improving.
I did also have the biting and stinging sensations. I would get stung just trying to clean. When I would feel a sting, I could rub in an antifungal and pull a black speck out of the skin. It's possible this was either the fungus causing this or the parasites/fibers in my case... because I do not get any more of these sensations now that my skin has improved. I think for some people, yes, a biting mite can start this thing. When the biting mite turns into Morgellons, it's because the mites leave this fungal infection on the skin... I have heard many talk about this... ! Anyway.. this is just my theory... based on my observations and what has been helping me.. and what has been helping others as well.
Here is an experiment you can try. I have been using a barley treatment on my skin. Barley, ironically, is genetically modified to resist fungus and contains an enzyme called chitinase, which can break down this fungus on the skin. I have done multiple treatments and continue to see improvement in my skin. Here is a link from the Lymebusters site which describes it: http://lymebusters.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rash&action=display&thread=12711
If there is nothing there, your skin should not react to barley (assuming you aren't allergic to barley)... I haven't posted an update in awhile there.. but will continue to post on my progress. Please try it and see what happens...
You are right, we need to put our heads together to figure this thing out. I am hoping my postings will help others, just as the lymebusters post above helped me. I did not follow Mel's protocol. I did get well with the help of a naturopath. I'm not 100%, but I am getting better each day. I pray for all of us!!!!

| Hi Sue,
I am joining you ladies in prayer for Nichole. Have you been tested for heavy metals? Lizards, birds and spiders all carry parasites. as do many parasites themselves.
Everyone is exposed. the question is why are some people able to fight them off and others are not? I think pH is a big factor, as is nutritional status and cellular energy potential (mitochondrial health). which points to either thyroid suppression or heavy metal/chemical toxicity either of which leads inevitably to immune insufficiency.
I believe the reason there appears to be multiple types of Morgellons is there are multiple causations, but the common underlying theme is compromised bioterrain. There are identifiable vectors in some cases, and not in others.
In the struggle to overcome this invasion of pathogens, there is a time and place for antimicrobials, antifungals, antiparasitics, and topicals. These interventions, which are aimed more at symptoms than causes, are necessary to remove the overwhelming burden faced by the immune system in a fully compromised Morgellons patient.
The use of these agents shifts the burden from the immune system to the body's various detoxification systems, which must be supported in order to gain ground between disease cycles. This is a major reason why Mel's protocol is effective for those who stick with it.
The other reason is that it supports cellular vitality and promotes critical factors (such as pH)that account for a healthy bioterrain. The same bacteria, fungi and bugs that are infesting Morgellons patients are found in dead trees, not living, healthy ones... why is that?
When you boil down all the biochemistry and physics, it amounts to vibrational energy at the cellular level. What are the critical factors that contribute to cellular energy?
1. Efficient means of defense from invaders. 2. Efficient means of converting fuel into energy. 3. Efficient means of removing wastes and encountered toxins. 4. Controlling inflammation, which damages the cell.
Sound familiar?

| Gigi, Hi. . which antifungals are you applying that are working? I would like to try them.
I agree with allot of what you are saying, however how would it be accounted for that my fiance got these without any fungus? And also seeing very small white spiders, a doctor in NY also has been studying these after contracting them .. and applied alcohol and white micro spiders came out and even swam, he has documented this. I have his excerpt. Also, the biting under the skin I had first and foremost .. just like scabies, in fact scabie medicine would work but only to subside the situation, and they would later return unless I had the perithium on everyday. .I used both perithium and elimite. I did not continue because these scripts had formaldehyde and the itching and bites would only go away temporarily and return after 6 days or so. I have read soo many stories of others and their testimonies as well as my own which make me come up with the conclusion I have. I do believe it becomes viral, parasitic, bacterial, and fungal, and do believe it is seriously aggressive and progressive but I have also made the assumption there most definitely seems to be a biting mite involved initially. That is why many people document they got it from bird mites, or rat mites. I have definitely had a biting mite on my arms and in my ears initially and prior to every other condition or symptom. Of course we all need to get cured first and foremost, and I am putting everything into getting there as well. But I think it is JUST as important for us to get to the bottom of this for the health of all mankind, whereas we use our affliction in a positive way. All this did happened for a reason, and I think it is negligent on our part if we don't question where it came from . . and learn the source. . and learn how to inform and help others and ultimately stop it in its tracks or to prevent it altogether. . I am willing to give out my email for anyone wanting to do this. I want to be proactive in this. I live in So. Florida. I agree It is essential to share our cures, but I also know it is therapeutic, healthy, and responsible on our part to share our symptoms and concerns as well, in doing so will also make a difference in peoples life with possible prevention or at the least awareness. I am grateful you wrote back because We need to put our heads and our hearts together in fighting for this cause. always, Susan :)

I don't believe that M is actually a bug itself... unless there are several different types of M.
I believe that Morg's starts out as a fungal skin infection... in my case, I never had an insect vector. I could have picked this up from anywhere.. I have relatives in California whom I visit often, where M is prevalent in certain areas. I believe I could have had this infection for awhile, but it stayed fairly localized on my body and my body kept it in check for the most part. My immune system went to hell about 6 months ago.. I believe at this time, this infection spread further and deeper into my skin, and even became systemic. The first thing I noticed was the skin changes.. and the weird, white film on my skin that I could scrape off with my nails when I took a bath... weeks later, I noticed the flying dust, the black specks, the white specks, black threads, the fuzzballs, the larva-looking things, the arm hair that stands up on end..etc. Then I saw the bugs.. collembola and gnats.. This fungus infection, I believe, attracts the rest of the things to us.
I can see the infection on the skin when I apply topical antifungals - my skin will light up rashy red. I have been working hard on trying to eliminate this from the skin.. it's been a long process, but the infection is reducing on the skin, and my external symptoms are dying down.. way down! My hair is now not falling out so much.. and the film on my skin is almost gone. I still have a ways to go.. but everything has been improving when I started to focus on treating the fungus on my skin.

9/16/2009 9:09:25 PM | I was reading the post that John wrote on 9/16 And the thread was long, so am posting here ________________________________________ My voice is this- about the immune system .. we cannot be 100% correct on that. . I'd like to ask to still research and look at other people's testimonies. I think Morgellons may be an actual bug itself common in all morg cases, (not just an immune disorder) this 'bug' may later invite the other vectors. . .(parasites, bacterial, fungi, etc) which do also contribute to the decline of the immune system. They have actually seen the Morgs bug, and have pictures of' 'it' in some labs. My former fianc , saw it, several of them. . about 40 in their form walk/ burst from his skin and some spinned a web he said, when he poured a very strong bleach solution on himself and they also spun a web. . like me he had the black specs all around esp he said in his bed .. and he was starting to form lesions.. he begun with small bites as I had. It HAS to be a small organism .. or a GMO, , there definitely is a scabies part. . (when they defend themselves, it has been documented they turn into tiny white spiders) this is what my fianc saw as well. It has several stages. I got it in my car. . my car is still infected, cloth seats . . I came from my car after 6 hours in it and was bitten all over my ankles and legs which then went to my back. . Mel said he got it from spiders. I read that lizards, birds, mosquitoes, and spiders are carrying it, infecting people, and their population is also getting wiped out, it is said often you can see dead lizards around like rampad. It could possibly be something that was poured in the air, or an epidemic, we cannot outrule these things. ALSO, my boyfriend did NOT have a suppressed immune system . .He was super strong healthy as an ox, body-builder. . theres no way. . Maybe, depending on your immune system. . some get it worse OR it progresses . .but I believe these creatures bite 'anyone' and inbed themselves in your skin. . maybe, depending on your health, each body handles it differently whether it will incubate, that's questionable. (my boyfriend also went in my car for hours, but at a different time than I did) Again, I believe other vectors do set in . . but initially morgellons is a vector all on its own imposing on a body and is an element in breaking down the immune system I have every other symptom that goes with this, including scratches from nowhere (which isn't mentioned), loss of balance ( I fell down) . .and I'm a cheerleader- very odd, coordination I constantly dropped trays at work and everything at home, then the usual- cognitive, motor skills, unhealing lesions, loss of words, itching, stings, constant electrical shocks, black specs, white eggs, muscles cramping up, paralysis in feet and other areas. . etc etc etc and a feeling of mononucleosis .. weakness, much physical suffering People who see me think I am mentally retarded with strong case of chicken pox. I do not hide. One 32 yr old friend has lost her hair, teeth, eyebrow from this. At the time of contracting it, I was a health nut, I was also taking paragone often from time to time, following Hulda Clark w zapper, drinking green drinks, a strong alkaline diet, very often detoxes, Echinacea liquids w goldenseal, much fitness & sports, I felt great & looked great, and then THIS came. We need to research this further. Thks for letting me speak my voice. sincerely, Susanne
